CAP (Community Access Program) was
developed by Industry Canada in 1995. This program was designed to offer
communities in rural areas of Canada the opportunity to use today's technologies
& provide public access to the internet.
North Shore CAP Site, located in the North Shore Consolidated School, was opened
in July of 1998. Our CAP Site is managed by individuals in the community who
volunteer their time and skills to make this program possible.
The CAP Site, in partnership with the North Shore Consolidated School, provides
the latest technology and training for students and to the residents of the
communities along the North Shore.
